Social Butterfly

Social Butterfly

I want to have one of those dogs that is super well behaved and goes everywhere with its owner. You know the kind, the ones that everybody else has, but you. I've been reading up a lot on that and according to The Google Machine, you need to socialize, socialize, socialize. I can do that, but at the same time, I want to be careful since Biggs hasn't had all of his immunizations yet.

That Little....!!!

I guess this is my new life, {I forgot} having to keep my closet door shut. In this case, I can't just take my running shoes off right when I get home and leave them by the front door anymore or else this will happen. I see puppy classes in our near future. Biggs just needs to finish up on his puppy shots so he can get in. Any tips or tricks to keep a dog from chewing up shoes, besides the obvious?

He's So Snuggly

He's So Snuggly

I wish he could stay this small and snuggly forever. Biggs is getting used to his new surroundings, but he is definitely a cuddle bear when he's not being ornery. Today when I was working in my home office he came up to me, I thought he wanted to play, but instead he just wanted his new mama to hold him tight to her chest.

Getting Settled In

Getting Settled In

t's been about six weeks since we added our new addition to the family with Biggs. He's a purebred fawn boxer registered with the AKC and we rescued him from our local pet store. What? Those dogs need to experience a loving family life too. Besides, I was ganged up on by my daughter, son and the sales guy in the pet store. I specifically told him NOT to take the boxer out of the cage for me to hold. He did. My heart melted. We added a boxer to our family.
